Basic Shot types (camera distances)
This film looks at basic types of shot which show the distance between the camera and the subject. The only one I may disagree with is the extreme close up - could do with being more extreme for me!
Match on Action
In this student video from America they have used LOADs of match cuts - where the action from one shot follows the action in the previous shot - and so on. This creates the illusion of 'invisible editing'; even though the camera has moved and the shot distance has changed, the edit looks fluid because the action is continuous.
